Overview

Okimochi does not ask visitors to create an account, log in, or send contact forms. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people find and use the site, so we can improve the pages, words, and illustrations.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, browser and device information, approximate location, referrer information, and interactions with the site. Google may process this information as described in its own documentation.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. This may include information such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, browser and device information, approximate location, and referrer information.

We use this information to improve the site experience, including whether visitors can find illustrated words, understand clickable cards, and reach the parts of word pages that are useful to them. Microsoft may process this information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and site activity. These technologies help distinguish visits and understand how pages are used over time.

Site search

When you use the site search, the search term may appear in the page URL, such as /?q=dokidoki. Google Analytics may receive that URL and record the search term. Please avoid entering names, email addresses, or other personal information into the search box.

How to opt out

You can limit analytics measurement by changing your browser settings, blocking cookies, using content blockers, or using Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
